Default Halloween Farming Special (W/Mo)

Need those Decayed Orr Emblems? I get over 100 an hour with this build:

Smiting 12
Healing 12
Strength 5 (rune and armor)

Mending
Balthazaar's Spirit
Balthazaar's Aura
Symbol of Wrath
Sprint
Smite Hex
Healing Breeze
Shield of Judgement (E)

-2 Shield and smiting rod, OR Ivor's Staff (20/20 smiting)

Just remember that Smiting weapons do double damage against undead, so leave your melee stuff at home.

The Mesmers should always be your first targets. Get in close and use Smite Hex which has a good radius and does 140 damage to all nearby fools. Hit Shield of Judgement when you have enough fools attacking at once. Heal as necessary (the +8 Breeze helps with the poison, bleeding, and degen hexes you'll encounter). Follow the course of the mission until you get to the bridge over the poison swamp, then hook a left and go down to the Undead Jackpot. Symbol of Wrath and BZ's Aura will light up the Hellhounds and Ghouls at the end that pop up out the ground.

Once you've nuked all the undead, just re-renter the mission. I also pick up the bones and glittering dust, since they stack.

Each run takes a little over 10 minutes, and I get about 20 emblems per run. That way you can load up on your holiday items. Enjoy!

Unique items for Halloween:

You can also get them in Ascalon with Charr Carvings.

Lol, you can do the same with Charr Carvings - I simply entered the Nolani mission, opened the gate and killed all the on rushing charr in about 15 seconds flat with BA and cyclone. Was fun to see em all drop so quickly

Plus I got loads of charr hides which I sold to players for a profit

Tell me, why do you need any specific build to do this? You're L20. Unless you're mentally handicapped, it is very easy indeed to figure out something for killing tons of low-level undead.

Speed is the answer... Just like all farming... Just about any Wa/Mo could solo this mission, but to do it in 5 minutes (which is about what my runs here take), you need to use a farming build and hit as many as possible at once...

Talking Mo/W build didn't work for me

I tried this build -

Then changed to this at lvl 16 :P works alot better
mending
watchfull spirt
encsence bond
balths spirt
healing brezze
bonette
baths aura
sysbol of wrath

and got killed pretty much when the large mob got to me. May be that I farm for speed with a Earth Ele/Mo with aftershock, shockwave and sliver armor.

I start the mission and kill the first two small groups at the entrance to Oink's yard. This unlocks the bulk of the mob. Next I run down behind the house in Oink's yard and down the hill. Kill the Graspings and Hellhound, Kill the Big group of hellhounds and graspings and then the big group of warlocks and skeleton rangers. I get loads of holiday items, decayed orrs and a good number of golds. Best of all its very fast - but the mob is huge and they all come at once. Overwhelmed the Mo/W. I use this build:

OgNDkMndOuiU3XtUwDBJiE5B

Naro Fanyare - or a host of others

Feel free to contact me in game if u have questions.

This thread is from 2005. Don't bump old threads; there is no point discussing a build that is so obsolete. Post a new thread if you really want to.
